A Great Weekend

So Mommy and Haleigh had a great Saturday last weekend. We got a quick visit with GramCee at the beauty salon and then Haleigh went with Aunt Erin to her house to play with Bubby and Lexi for a bit. Haleigh even got to help with Lexi's hair and makeup for her dance pictures! Then Haleigh and I went to my friend Hollie's house for her daughter Savannah's 2nd birthday party. There we also got to see another friend, Steph, who I hadn't seen in years and her 2 kids, Cole and Bailey. Then, after that (yes there is more) we got to go to Aunt Jodi and Uncle Shane's house and have dinner and play with Julie and see Jake briefly! Wow, as if that isn't enough, Sunday, Haleigh and I went to Target to get supplies to make a "potty chart" for Haleigh (Aunt Jodi's great suggestion). Sunday morning was "Princess time" which she enjoys and totally loved playing with her cousin in Julie's princess castle and great dress up clothes. After nap it was nice enough for a walk and Haleigh took her tricycle that she got for her birthday and she actually managed to pedal by herself for a bit for the first time. She also got to play on her slide a little, which is her favorite! Today, Haleigh tinkled in the potty and got to put her first special sparkly flower sticker on the potty chart!! She has also taken to some great manners saying, "Mommy, may I please ______". Pretty cute! That makes the "No's" she is testing us with now easier to take. they are relatively few and far between and we seem to be able to stop them pretty quickly, but that doesn't stop her from trying again later!! We are still pretty blessed as she is a mostly easy kid, although she is constant!!!!, with more good days than bad for sure. Hope you are all well!! God Bless!
