So we have been in the Big Girl Bed for a week now and it has gone pretty well!! Unfortunately Haleigh has been fighting a really nasty cold for a week and a half now so that made for some sleepless nights, but fortunately we put Haleigh in a full size bed so I was able to sleep in bed with her for a few of those nights that she coughed all night long so I could give her some comfort and water. All in all though getting her into bed has been a breeze. I am knocking on wood as I type this, but she has gone to bed really easily and has stayed there! I am enjoying it!!
So I got the best news this week! My friend Sarah whose son Caleb hasn't had an immune system and underwent a transplant in September of 2007 to hopefully help him to form one found out that it is finally working. Because of this, after flu season is over (probably April) they will be able to expand the visitor list to include Aunts and Uncles and I get to be included as well. I have not seen Sarah or Caleb in person (besides a couple of outside from a distance visits) since October 2006 before Haleigh Rose was born. This is so exciting for me and I am so looking forward to Spring!!!!! Here is their blog if you want to check out more about them...http://caleb-paul-hlebiczki.blogspot.com/
We are ready for the Superbowl and really excited! Haleigh was decked out for Black and Gold day today. I also have a few pictures of her from the day I put the bedding together in her room and she first saw it when she got up from nap.
